Y’all remember back in the day when you would grab the broom and lip sync to your favorite song blaring on the radio or the boombox. Young Jayna Brown and her mother cover Adele’s song Rolling in the deep. This young girl has a beautiful clear voice and can sing a variety of music. Jayna’s background is Gospel music. In a video over eight months ago where Jayna covers Tamela Mann’s, Take me to the King, the video received over 1.3 million views. Here is a sample of Jayna having fun with her Mom.
Jayna was raised on music from her grandparents era, Motown style music. Jayna’s mom was deployed in the United States Military so, Jayna’s earliest memory of meeting her Mom is at the age of four. Jayna’s grandparents kept busy with music, singing and showering Jayna with love. It looks like music just runs in the family. Jayna made it to the finale of Kidz Star USA for an opportunity to win a recording contract with RCA records. Jayna did not win that battle but the journey was fun.
